Getting to the Roadhouse and Mercantile

McCarran International Airport (LAS), located in Las Vegas, is the closest major airport to Kanab. Driving from Las Vegas to Kanab takes roughly four hours. (Please note that Kanab is on Mountain Time, one hour later than Nevada and California, which are on Pacific Time.)

St. George Regional Airport (SGU) in St. George, Utah, is a municipal airport offering flights between St. George and Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Denver and Phoenix. Driving from St. George to Kanab takes roughly 1.5 hours.

Kanab Municipal Airport is in Kane County, Utah, two miles south of the city of Kanab.

 

CAR RENTAL
There’s a variety of car rental companies in Las Vegas and St. George. Xpress Rent-a-Car offers rental cars in Kanab.

 

SHUTTLE SERVICE

The St. George Shuttle is available between Las Vegas and St. George.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
There is no public transportation in Kanab. The Best Friends Roadhouse & Mercantile is in the main part of Kanab and within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions.

Important: In the interest of safety, and to avoid fines, please observe speed limits. Also, mule deer are plentiful in the area from fall through spring, so take care when driving — particularly from dusk to dawn.
